Our Story
On the hills of Mt Olympus, in the small town of Litochoro lies a restaurant like no other: Gastrodromio in Olympus, a greek cuisine restaurant with a unique creative style,
a place of extraordianary gastronomic adventures and oenological inquisitions.
Chef patron Andreas Gavris, engineer, then a pheasant breader but always a curious village boy in heart found at the age of 35 - luckily for every food adventurer- his true calling: the gastronomy.
The result dazzling and ungraded, as Andreas integrates the recipes of his ancestors with contemporary formulas and flavors mixing them up with his own -secret or not- ingredients to serve up what he calls "an innovating yet traditional course". Curious, amateur and adventurous, Andreas prepares recipes of his own inspiration based both on his knowledge of local ingredients as well as on his experience in cuilinary technics.
